Services

Along with assisting the homeless and needy with daily meals and clothing, we offer food boxes to families that are struggling to keep food on the table.  

The items that are sold in the thrift store, such as clothing, appliances, furniture, and household goods are sold at a minimum price, so that lower income families, can have the items that they need without stretching the family budget.

An added bonus, which our customers love, is our tithe rack and tithe table.  We give ten percent of everything to God; from our finances, to clothing and even furniture!  Every tenth item that is donated, is marked with a 'T' which is our tithe to God, and is free to our customers!

    styrofoam cups, paper plates, plastic forks and spoons, toilet paper, sponges, sos pads, liquid dish detergent, bar soap, window cleaner, bathroom cleaner, paper towels, GALLON SIZE ZIPLOCS, QUART SIZE ZIPLOCS, canned green beans, canned corn, canned potatoes, canned diced tomatoes, canned peas, cake mixes and frostings, frozen meat, crackers, tabasco sauce 

    FOR THE HOMELESS:
    coats, hats, gloves, scarves, back-packs, Blankets, RAZORS, SHAVING CREAM, SOCKS, MENS UNDERWEAR, they also enjoy 'snack packs' with vienna sausages, beanie weanies, beef jerky, nuts, little debbie cakes, chips, peanut butter and jelly etc. 
     
    FINANCIAL NEEDS:
    tHE PRICE OF gas has adversely effected our ministry.  we are in desperate need of financial support.  Please prayerfully consider sowing a seed so that we can continue to be a blessing to those in need.

  THE NEEDY CHRISTMAS TREE PROGRAM

I want to thank all of you for making the Needy Christmas Tree Program such a big success this year!  Thanks to you, 480 gifts were passed out to the homeless on Christmas Eve and Christmas day!  Some received brand new winter coats, shoes, sleeping bags, and back-packs!!  Everyone, got brand new socks, and gloves, and stocking hats, and scarves!  Thank you so much for your participation in this great program!

 

         THE NEEDY FAMILY PROGRAM

Thanks to all of you who helped us with the Needy Family Program.  This year, 15 families received help with gifts for their children, such as brand new dolls, collector monopoly games, trucks, Barbie dolls, balls and even new clothes, and winter coats.  These families also received a food box with a turkey for Christmas!  Thank you all for your support!

 

                RANDOM SANTA

This year, thanks to everyone who gave so generously, we were also able to do our "Random Santa" program for the first time!  Thanks to you, we took 70 food boxes with turkeys to the lower income neighborhoods of Huntsville, and passed out food boxes.  Many times, those that need help the most won't ask, so we knocked on their doors and asked if they needed a food box!  It was such an awesome blessing to be able to do this.  Some people said "I can't afford to pay for it," well, they were very happy to hear that it was a gift!  Some people cried, and the Lord blessed us to pray with many people that day.  Thank you for blessing us, to be a blessing to others!
